Updated October 27, 2026
This notice explains how Trujillo & Tax Co. handles information related to this website and initial inquiries. Separate engagement and client privacy documents may apply to tax, bookkeeping and advisory services.
Information we receive
If you email, call, or schedule a consultation, we may receive the contact details and information you choose to provide. Our hosting and analytics providers may receive technical and usage information, such as an IP address, browser or device information, pages viewed, approximate location, and interactions with the site. Information submitted to Google Calendar or TaxDome is handled through those services under their own terms and privacy notices.
Analytics and cookies
We use ChatGPT Sites analytics and Google Analytics to understand site traffic and improve the website. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies and can receive usage and device information. We measure general interactions such as clicks on scheduling, client portal, email, and phone links. Please do not include tax information, Social Security numbers, financial details, or other sensitive information in booking descriptions or website addresses.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect site features. Our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Third parties may collect information about online activities over time and across websites; their practices are described in their own notices. See Google’s Privacy Policy and the TaxDome Privacy Policy.
How information is used and shared
We use inquiry and site information to respond to requests, arrange consultations, operate and secure the site, understand website use, and administer our business. Hosting, analytics, scheduling, and portal providers may process information in connection with their services. Disclosures of confidential client or prospective-client information and tax return information are subject to applicable law, including written permission and specific consent requirements where applicable; a general website notice does not replace a required consent.
Tax return information
Federal and California law restrict certain uses and disclosures of tax return and confidential preparer information. We will request separate written permission or other specific consent when required. Do not send tax returns, Social Security numbers, bank account details, or identity documents through ordinary email or consultation booking fields; ask us about using the client portal.
Retention and choices
We retain information for periods appropriate to the service, recordkeeping, security, and applicable legal obligations, and handle disposal in accordance with applicable requirements. To request access, correction, or information about our practices, contact us using the details below. Rights and response obligations depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
