Fees, Billing & Refunds

We discuss the work and pricing before a client agrees to an engagement. Booking an introductory consultation does not by itself authorize tax preparation or other professional work.

Estimates and engagement terms

Fees depend on the work requested, complexity, and information available. Any estimate or proposal, payment timing, scope, additional work, and applicable third-party charges will be communicated in the engagement materials or otherwise agreed before the work is performed. A change in scope may require a revised agreement.

Billing and payments

For accepted engagements, billing and payment instructions are provided separately, including through TaxDome where applicable. The informational website does not itself collect payment-card details. Charges and payment timing depend on the agreed engagement terms.

Cancellation and refund requests

To ask about cancelling an engagement or requesting a refund, contact us at services@trujillotaxco.com or 916-291-5270. We will review the applicable agreement, work performed, circumstances, and applicable law. Any specific deposit, cancellation, or refund conditions will be disclosed in the relevant engagement materials. Statutory rights remain available.

Questions or disputes

Contact us promptly if you have a billing concern so we can review the invoice and applicable terms. You may also contact your payment provider about available dispute rights.
